As the author of Pathy's Violin - Journey to Nigea, I thought that the addition of a video trailer for the book just might help to introduce you, the reader, to this two part series. I decided early on that this book would be totally different than the typical fantasy serial.
This book begins in a very believable way with a family members death. The main character is Pathy Faden. Pathy is a bright, talented 15 year old classical violinist.

The future looks very bright for her until the dreams begin. Shortly thereafter there is the return of her mother, whom she never really knew. The story continues to unfold, and she finds her first real love.  Pathy's life seems to be almost perfect. There is an accident, then a kidnapping, and her life begins to tumble out of control. It is then that the many dreams begin to make sense to her. Her guardians guide her to a mystical destiny that the reader will not soon forget.
